Biking for Babies 2025: Ride for Life, Ride for Hope

We’re honored to share that Martha’s House of Hope has been chosen as a beneficiary of both the 2025 Central Iowa Ride for Life and the National Biking for Babies Ride! These powerful events bring communities together to support organizations like ours that walk alongside young mothers and their babies every step of the way.

📅 The Central Iowa Ride will take place on Saturday, June 28 in Ankeny, Iowa, and welcomes riders of all ages and skill levels. Proceeds directly support the mission of Martha’s House of Hope—providing safe, supportive housing and critical resources that empower mothers to build brighter futures for themselves and their children.

We were especially blessed to welcome Megan Sardegna, one of the National Ride missionaries who is biking on behalf of Martha's House of Hope, to our maternity home this May. Megan, a junior at Oklahoma State University, will be biking 600 miles from Omaha to St. Louis this July in support of pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes across the country.

Megan is pictured here with our Executive Director, Tara Brown, during her recent visit.

Her dedication, strength, and joyful spirit are a beautiful reflection of the hope we strive to offer every mother who walks through our doors.
